A New Kind of Town Hall
I collaborated to the planning on a “town-hall” in Philadelphia where activists gathered to demand protection and care for youth experiencing housing insecurity in Philadelphia. I copy-wrote suggested language for grammar and tone and also originated messaging.
I designed flyers, posters and social media collateral to promote the event and postcards for advocates to send to decision-makers to urge them to protect young people. Attendees engaged with and brainstormed around 10 ft posters that highlighted assistance recommendations.
Designs are meant to be beautiful and interesting to catch attention, youthful to remind attendees that we are talking about children, and bold to build energy around an urgent issue.
