I’m a copywriter, graphic designer, & communications strategist. But, I am also an expert in empathy.

I believe that good communication and design are rooted in empathy, and empathy just so happens to be my superpower!

This means that when I am creating or strategizing for something, I think critically to understand audiences’ motivations. I listen and research to understand context, history, and intersectionality. I center the lived experiences of those I am advocating for and spend time to understand those I am trying to reach.

I apply an intrinsic understanding of human behavior and a mastery of language and design to engage diverse audiences around sensitive and complex subject matter, and I am effective!

I have 12 + years of digital community-building experience and 7+ years directing communications programs. Plus a decade of managing executive-level, large-scale projects for nonprofit organizations and small businesses alike. This work has been for ivy-league health institutions, policy firms, grass-roots campaigns, arts non-profits, and beyond.

I love art, design, writing, and community. My work allows organizations and small businesses to articulate their work, showcase their impact, make connections, and build communities.
